The Day of The Turkey
To give thanks would be our utmost valor. We defy the likes of danger like Columbus on the ocean blue in 1492 and we are thankful for his discovery and that's why today, November 24, 2011 we eat turkey and stuffing. We are blessed to be here and because of one man, who made truce between two nations, we are here. This nation was and will always be brought together by such an event. That is why we are honored to be Americans. That is why today of all days we are living proof of history in action. The turkey we eat is living proof, well tasty proof that is, and we are free. We are free because one day a british leader decided to bring down an indigenous species as he said. This so called indigenous species are Native Americans. They were greeted with peace and with.... Well there might be truth behind what I say, but that truth is too cruel to be in a post so humane, so today in the language of the turkey I wish you a happy thanksgiving. GOBLE GOBLE !
