It is a matter of religion some might think, when the words In Time We Trust show up as the topic of this blog. As a matter of fact it has nothing to do with religion or beliefs, more like behaviors we tend to follow that are massively robbing us of time. When I mention robbing of time, people might go "HUH" or "WHAT." To tell you the truth you have a right to do so because my title is in fact called In Time We Trust. Look at time with an open eye because its robbing us of what we have. With age we grow and deteriorate, just like plants and leaves on new years eve. Unlike the plants and leaves though, we think logically and perceptually and are able to realize that this very thing that robbed those things of their lives can also rob us of ours. We purchase creams that make us look ages younger. We even undergo painful medical procedures just so we can go back 5 or 6 years. Bravo to the men and women that did this, but really are we cheating time by doing this? No was the answer I was looking for. We might fool our selves or maybe others that we look twenty, but never will we make our organs look the same. Never will we make our mind forget the things we have experienced. When we look back at our lives we see blessings. We see miracles that actually happened to us. I knew I said this had nothing to do with religion, but is a miracle only based on religion? I THINK NOT! A miracle is being able to walk everyday on both of your feet. A miracle is you being able to face the truth of having cancer. A miracle is having to see tomorrow without crying because your daughter died. I know religion and miracles from holy books, but miracles from everyday humans are very much different. See time is what keeps us moving forward. If time was infinite, would we not abuse it? If our lives were infinite, honestly I would party everyday. Get drunk and sleep with women on a daily basis, but unlike that superficial world, that I would very much love to visit on daily basis, we live in a world were simple crimes like stealing are considered wrong. Were drinking on a daily basis is called alcoholism and sleeping with women on a daily basis is called prostitution. I know life is difficult and dealing with time can be a hassle because you might not look the way you wanted and might not like the person you are, but imagine being sixty and homeless. I'm sure your number one thought would be I wish I had more time to change.
Time honestly is on our side and everyday we trust it to live onto the next. We trust in time to make it out a bloody fight alive. We trust in time to make it to a party on time. Even when you dont think that time is on your side or if you think that you dont believe in time, you actually do because every single thing you do; whether you think about it or not your trusting time to get you somewhere. I must bring religion into this because I feel it is necessary to the subject at hand. Honestly i'm sorry, but whenever someone is at the end of their lives and has sinned ninety-nine percent of it they repent or they wish they had more time to. If religion is a major part of your lives, then yes sinning is against it and with time, if you trust in it, then you'll have the time to repent and become a believer before you die. I'll save the religious stuff for your preacher or w.e, but just know this religion does not control time. Time is a cycle that never ends, it is infinite for none and hesitant to give some, but yet we believe in that ounce that we secretly have stashed away, that time will always be there for us like the clouds above. Dont think that we are invincible. Dont think we will live till we are ninety, but believe that we will use our time's wisely. Do not waste what has been given to you because in the end you might just regret not doing that one thing you really wanted to. Live free, trust in time because in the end it will trust in you.
